Proximity sensors detect hands and illuminate the keyboard as fingers approach. The backlight then turns off when you leave the desk, saving power for when inspiration returns. The backlight automatically adjusts to light conditions, or you can manually adjust it.
MX Keys follow the MX Master 3 or other Flow-enabled mice from computer to computer, so you can type on multiple devices in a seamless workflow. Transfer files, documents and images between computers and Mac and Windows operating systems.
MX Keys last up to 10 days on a full charge or up to 5 months without backlighting. Battery life may vary depending on computing environment and usage. Use the USB-C charging cable for charging.
